IDSB Gives Evidence To Women And Equalities Committee Inquiry: Misogyny: The Manosphere And Online Content

The Institute for Digital Security and Behaviour (IDSB) welcomed the opportunity to provide evidence to the Women and Equalities Committee inquiry into Misogyny: the manosphere and online content.

The WEC is examining how online content and the availability of violent pornography is contributing to sexist and misogynistic attitudes, behaviour and violence against women and girls both online and offline.

The IDSB response is based on our researchers’ programme of emerging specialist research mapping the scale and diversity of the manosphere, the digital pathways facilitating engagement with misogynistic content, and the commercial footprint of misogynistic communities.
