Our statement on new report on evolving online extremism

The IDSB welcomes today’s publication of the Home Affairs Committee report, Combatting New Forms of Extremism, and is pleased our interdisciplinary research helped inform the findings.

The report includes details of our work on fluid and hybridised ideologies, as well as the role of online spaces, social media and influencers. It is encouraging that this research has been recognised for its potential to inform policy and contribute to meaningful real-world impact.
